The Master of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies
The
Master of Science
Degree in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies (MS EAT) is
a unique, innovative, and interdisciplinary program. The course of
study is administered through the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University
of South Florida, in conjunction with the Colleges of Business, Engineering, and
Health.
This program consolidates the Entrepreneurship education and training
for successful opportunity recognition and development, technology and
market assessment, technology commercialization, new venture formation,
and new venture financing into a single interdisciplinary program
curriculum utilizing faculty and courses in these respective colleges.
The program allows for completion within a concentrated one-year
(12-month) period or within a five-year limit. An individual who
has obtained a bachelor's degree in any area of study and meets the
application criteria is invited to apply.
If you are already enrolled in a degree program at USF, you may be able
to dual enroll. The MS EAT can
be taken in conjunction with the MBA or Bio-Medical Engineering degree, and upon
approval, other various disciplines.
Graduation will require
successful completion of the 30 hour curriculum, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (no
grades below “C”), within a five (5) year period.
Classrooms are located on the Tampa Campus.
Some courses are additionally offered as live-feed webcasting.
